Exotic aquarium fish from Sri Lanka
We supply captive bred fresh water fish as well as wild caught brackish & marine fish. In particular our fresh water fish include Guppies, Betta fish, Goldfish, Swords tail, Platies, Tetras, etc. Guppies ( Poecilia reticulate) which are also known as Millionfish / Rainbowfish consist of the bulk of our freshwater shipments.
These adorable water treasures have become so popular among most aquarists around the world due to their unimaginable color variations and adaptive lifestyles. Also breeding guppies is fun as they are livebearers meaning they release the baby fish without hatching. This needs a bit of a craftsmanship as there are couple of things to consider before you actually do that. Additionally there are more fresh water varieties viz. Freshwater sharks, Gouramies, and Angels, we supply to our customers on request.
Overall there are about 111 different ornamental fish species living in freshwater, marine & brackish water habitats in Sri Lanka. We work with an extensive network of breeders, out-growers and deep-sea divers to bring you the best.
